	SPIRITUAL DIRECTION TRAINING
	Spiritual Directors' Institute (SDI) is a three-phased program: Phase I is for those who are exploring the ministry of Christian spiritual direction and desiring professional development in the knowledge of spirituality. The next session of SDI Phase I takes place in September 2009. Phase II begins the practicum of actually doing spiritual directing and being supervised. It requires an interview for entry. Phase III continues the practicum and supervision. It presents a holistic way of working with the movements of the Holy Spirit in a directee's life. 	SUMMER INTERNSHIPS
	Mercy Center offers special internships in spiritual direction during the summer months. These transformational programs attract people from throughout the world and create communities of prayer, learning, and discernment on our beautiful Burlingame campus. Participants enjoy the benefits of experienced staff, multicultural, multidenominational groups, and focused practicums.
