Mercy Center Burlingame is an internationally known conference and retreat center in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy. We welcome women and men of diverse faiths and cultural backgrounds and provide a peaceful and holistic environment for individuals seeking to nourish their personal, spiritual and professional lives.

Mercy Center Burlingame is a meeting place for nonprofit organizations and for individuals and groups seeking a tranquil setting for their conference or retreat. We are a spiritual home for those who seek a deeper relationship with the Divine. As a ministry of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas-West Midwest Community, we continue the work of the sisters of the Burlingame Region who founded the center in 1982.

Mercy Center Burlingame is conveniently located in the scenic hills of San Mateo County, 5 minutes from the Millbrae BART/CalTrain station and 10 minutes from San Francisco International Airport. Mercy Center Burlingame is known throughout the world for our pioneering work and programs in spiritual direction, centering prayer, East-West Meditation, and other contemplative practices.
