This talk by  Rabbi Nahum Ward-Lev will cover key themes from his new book, The Liberating Path of the Hebrew Prophets: Then and Now, including: the prophets’ witness to God’s love, prioritizing reciprocal relationships, engaging in dialogue, exercising social and artistic imagination, and nurturing a love ethic in public life.

By exploring these activities, and adding his own spiritual practices for the liberation journey, Ward-Lev empowers people of all faiths and backgrounds to view current challenges through a prophetic lens and to take prophetic action.





Rabbi Nahum Ward-Lev is the founder and leader of Beit Midrash, a Scripture-based multi-faith wisdom school.

He has led workshops at retreat centers, synagogues, churches and seminaries across the United States, including Union Theological Seminary and Ghost Ranch. Rabbi Ward-Lev is currently the Scholar-in-Residence at Temple Beth Shalom in Santa Fe.
