"Be still and know that I am God."

Are you feeling a desire to deepen your prayer or to learn about the Christian contemplative path?

Centering Prayer is a method of prayer which prepares us to more fully embrace the gift of God’s presence. This is traditionally called contemplative prayer. Contemplative prayer is the opening of mind and heartour whole beingto God, the Ultimate Mystery, beyond thoughts, words and emotions. Centering Prayer facilitates the movement from more active modes of prayerverbal, mental, or affective prayerinto a receptive prayer of resting in God. It fosters intimacy with God and a new way of seeing and living in our world.

This introduction to Centering Prayer includes instruction, group practice, video teachings of Fr. Thomas Keating and other renowned teachers, and support in integrating this prayer into our busy lives.
