Join us for a time to reflect and share within the grace of a gathered community about the invitations and challenges of our creative ministry.

Take the graced opportunity to prayerfully notice ways that you are being invited to your own unique expression of wellness… for your own life and for the fabric and texture of your ministry of spiritual direction.

Silence, sharing and creative meditative experiences will help us focus and deepen in this theme during our time together.

Journaling supplies will be provided.

9:30: Informal meeting and greeting

10:00: Introductions and themes for the day

Morning session: Experience of art-journaling prayer Input and personal response

Lunch: Bring a bag lunch

Afternoon session: Time to model spiritual direction relationship using art-journaling prayer and product in one-to one and/ or small group experience; Gathering of wisdom; Sending forth.

Marianne Hieb, RSM, MFA ATR, D. Min. directs the Wellness Spirituality Program at Lourdes Wellness Center in Collingswood, NJ and is an artist, art therapist, retreat and spiritual director, and author of Inner Journeying through Art-Journaling. She has facilitated workshops at Spiritual Directors International Conferences, and at the Merton International Conference, and has written articles on spirituality and creativity for Presence and other journals. She is a Sister of Mercy of the Mid-Atlantic Community.
