Join us for days of retreat through which we will deepen in our journey to creatively approach and graciously welcome the Self and the Holy.

Whether you have already attended an art-journaling experience with Marianne, are engaged in your own creative exploration, or are new to this expression of prayer, you will find a place of entry into a deeper place of inner and outer dialogue, as well as an invitation for further discernment and inspiration.

Our time will be supported by the beauty of Mercy Center’s natural surroundings, nourishing food, restful environment and the richness of this shared space, grace, history, and ever-changing newness. Journaling supplies will be provided.

Participants from other years are welcome to bring past art-journalings for the sake of the ongoing comparison and revelation!

Our time together will include:

  • Quiet prayer
  • Meditative experiences with simple art materials
  • Written journaling
  • Times of silence and optional sharing
