This new program is designed for experienced spiritual directors who want continuing formation and skills enhancement to support their ministry of presence.

Program elements will include input on topics, but emphasis will be on practice sessions supervised by experienced staff.

Applied learning on the following subjects

• Contemplative listening
• Prayer
• Images of God
• Religious experience - and listening for God in structures and systems of our global realities

MEAL SERVICE

Meals include locally-sourced fresh fruit and vegetables, soups, salads and meat entrees. Our meal service department cannot offer all-vegan or other special menus. For your convenience, we have kitchenettes equipped with microwave ovens and refrigerators located on each residence floor. There is a health food store in Burlingame, a short distance from Mercy Center. Guests are welcome to bring special foods or supplements to retreats.
