Silence, prayer, Eucharist, and individual direction sessions are essential elements of this retreat. There is time each day for walks in nature, swimming, therapeutic massage, healing touch, and creative expression.

Sliding scale for therapeutic massage and Healing Touch charges: $40-$70.

RETREAT LEADERS

Joseph McHugh, S.J., is a Jesuit of the New England Province of the Society of Jesus and has been engaged in the in the ministry of spiritual direction for the past twenty years. He received his training at the Center for Religious Development in Cambridge, MA.

Marilyn Granucci is one of the directors of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and has taught Biospiritual Focusing at Mercy Center. She is currently the Spiritual Direction Resource person assisting people in finding spiritual directors through Mercy Center and is a spiritual director for private retreatants.

MEAL SERVICE

Meals include locally-sourced fresh fruit and vegetables, soups, salads and meat entrees. Our meal service department cannot offer all-vegan or other special menus. For your convenience, we have kitchenettes equipped with microwave ovens and refrigerators located on each residence floor. There is a health food store in Burlingame, a short distance from Mercy Center. Guests are welcome to bring special foods or supplements to retreats.
