Join us as we align ourselves with millions of groups around the world awakening to a Great Turning on our planet.

Signs of the Great Turning:

• Holding actions to slow down the destruction of Earth’s life support systems
• New structures and ways of doing things that sustain and regenerate life
• Shift in consciousness – deep realization of our interdependence

We will participate in this global awakening through film, reading, sharing silence & stories, practicing Joanna Macy’s “work that reconnects” and strengthening our connections to our respective communities. Come and bring a friend!

The series culminates with a retreat with Joanna Macy ~ Earth Day weekend, April 20-22, 2012.

Series Facilitators

Patricia Ryan, RSM, brings 30 years of teaching Physical Science and 50 years as a Sister of Mercy to the process of integrating the evolution of consciousness with the responsibilities of conscious evolution. She is a poet and leads retreats and workshops on eco-spirituality.

Catherine Regan, Ph.D., is a spiritual director, clinical psychologist, and retreat leader at Mercy Center. Her great interest is in the renewal of contemplative practices and the benefits of those practices in our individual and collective lives.
