Contemplative prayer is a process of interior transformation. A restructuring of consciousness takes place which empowers one to perceive, relate, and respond with increasing sensitivity to the divine presence in, through, and beyond everything that exists.

Enter into a more profound level of spiritual practice in an atmosphere of silence and community. This intensive retreat provides the opportunity to intensify one’s discipline and practice of Centering Prayer. It is for those with some experience in Centering Prayer.

Lorita Moffatt, RSM, is a full time staff member at Mercy Center, a spiritual director and supervisor with special interest and experience in the formation of spiritual directors, and directing the Spiritual Exercises.

Catherine Regan, Ph.D., is a spiritual director, clinical psychologist, and retreat leader at Mercy Center. Her great interest is in the renewal of contemplative practices and the benefits of those practices in our individual and collective lives.
