This contemplative retreat will encourage calmness, peace, and insight.

Retreat will include:

• Holy Week liturgies in the Mercy Center Chapel
• Daily periods of meditation and silence
• Sitting meditation and walking meditation
• Conscious breathing

Fr. Gregory Mayers, CSSR, is a Redemptorist priest. He trained under the tutelage of Willigis Jäger, OSB, who gave him permission to teach both Zen and Christian contemplation. Fr. Greg is the award-winning author of Listen to the Desert: The Secrets of Spiritual Maturity in the Desert Fathers and Mothers. He directs the East-West Meditation Program at Mercy Center and is the resident teacher.
